Jean-Francis started his career at Bouygues Construction in 1992 in their International Finance Engineering Department and became a project manager working on projects in Europe such as Stade de France, Bina Istra motorway, Prague airport, N4 motorway in South Africa, etc. In 1997, he led the project finance department of Basil Read. In 1998 he joined UBS in Zurich, later moving to London and was involved as financial advisor and arranger in landmark European projects. He then acted as Director with Citigroup and WestLB, covering infrastructure and TMT sectors in EMEA and Asia.


Jean-Francis joined Edmond de Rothschild in 2004 and quickly took charge of the group’s structuring advisory services. He contributed to the successful development of the Structured Finance advisory (EdR led the 2011 IJ league tables as global financial advisor in transport and PPP) and Private Equity structuring activities. In 2013, as part of the group’s globalisation, Jean-Francis headed the group’s Infrastructure, Real Assets and Structured Finance department managing the global infrastructure structured finance activity and the infrastructure debt platform for the Group.


Jean-Francis graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and has a law degree from the Law University Paris II.
