Iza Lejárraga is Head of the Investment Policy Linkages Unit in the Investment Division of the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs, where she leads analytical work on investments in infrastructure, global value chains, and connectivity. She also manages the NEPAD-OECD Africa Investment Initiative, working closely with SADC on investment and infrastructure.  During her tenure at the OECD, Iza has previously served as Senior Economist at the Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, and Local Development and Trade Policy Analyst at the Trade and Agriculture Directorate. Prior to joining the OECD in 2010, Iza held positions at the African Development Bank, both in the Regional Integration and the Development Research Departments. She holds an advanced degree in economics and international development from Harvard University, where she has also been a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard Center for International Development.
